I found this little naked baby doll the other day and gave it to Jules. She *loves* it, but I couldn't stand seeing that tiny little naked body, so I got out the size 1 dpns and whipped up this little number:

http://diaperpages.com/Photos/baby_doll.jpg

That was fun, lol...

Wow, I can't believe how detailed the dress is and the perfect length! I'm amazed at how easily it seems you worked with so few stitches.... FYI - I can't knit so I'm easily amazed! :LOL Good job!

LOL It's not every day you get to make a whole outfit in 20 minutes

I just knitted a tube, (with 10 cast on stitches). When it was the right lenghth, I cast off four, put two on a holder, cast off another four, and with the two remaining stitches, I knitted the first strap, then cast it off onto the opposite edge of the dress (if that makes sense -- basically attached the end of the strap to the top edge of the tube). Then I went back to the two stitches on the holder and did the same thing.

Unfortunately, Julia decided she didn't like it and the baby is naked again. Oh well, at least I tried...

Aww, how sad that she didn't like the baby clothed - I'm sure she'd rather be naked too! :LOL

to Karen! The tiniest knitter I've ever seen!

hee, that looks like the little outfits I'd crochet for my dolls when I was little, though it's much more symmetrical and even
