My 6mo dd has been showing signs of teething for 3 months now. Today she started lunging at me-my face, chest, arms-like she's starving! When I give her the breast, she nurses a bit then pulls off and gets frustrated. Is this just teething, or also a possible supply issue? I think these are common teething signs, but not sure. TIA

My DS is also 6 months and is doing the EXACT same things. I don't think he's starving. I think he's just looking for relief when he starts burying his face into my chest. He'll eat for a few seconds then pull off and cry and then put his hands in his mouth. So really, I think it's just them looking for relief from the teething pain. I doubt it's a supply issue if your DD is having normal pees and poos and good feeding sessions at other times during the day.

It's definitely because your dd is teething. My son will try to gnaw on my chin, neck, cheeks, shoulder or whatever he can get his little mouth on. He'll do it all the sudden too, sometimes with a little growl. It's funny.

So glad to read your posts. My 6 mth dd is doing the exact same thing and I wasn't sure what was going on. Thought teeth but like you worried about suppy. Thanks posters for the reassurance!
