My ds is 6 mo and TEETHING! So he's been waking up a little bit more at night, instead of co-sleeping peacefully with the occasional murmur for the other side (if anyone has suggestions about changing sides without feeling like a yogic contortionist I'm all ears... um eyes ) he's waking up wailing, pulling his knees up and holding his hands to his mouth. I pick him up and sort of ec hold him, and he passes an insane amount of gas! This only calms him for about 45 min to an hour, and he's up again crying his poor little heart out.

Is there any correlation between teething an an upset tummy, because this is really weird to me. My diet hasn't changed or anything like that, so I'm baffled. Any other mom's going through this?

definitely! (going through the same!)

I was kindof wondering myself why my babe that never cries at night wakes up wailing!

I don't know if medically the gas is caused by teething, but I feel like DD definitely is gassy for no reason, and has had a diaper rash for weeks! it gets better, almost gone, then another tooth, another rash!

HTH!
