I have a son who turns 9 YO tomorrow, and he has always, always been unique. Very anxious, several Aspietraits etc. He has shown symptoms of OCD on several occasions, but it is not something he struggles with all the time. (Everything with this kid goes in waves. He is ALWAYS something, but what bothers him changes if that makes any sense. He is always special, always anxious, but some weeks his anxiety is very bad, some weeks/months it`s more like OCD etc.)

What bothers him most right now, is the tendency to ALWAYS be worried about something. Example: He can`t wish for ANYTHING for his birthday tomorrow, cause he is so worried that he will change his mind after he gets it. "But mama, what if it`s not as fun as I thought? Or what if I don`t like it even though I think I will?" He is sad, quiet and tearyeyed a lot these days, because he is also so worried.

What if... What will you do if .... What if someone comes and tries to steal me, then what will you do? What if I loose my ticket to the carousel, mama?

Anyone understand what I am saying? Most of the time I have a hard time explaining this, cause the worries are so "small", so everyday-like, YK? I don`t remember most of them, cause there are SO many each day.

So this is my loooong (I am not capable of writing short posts. ) way of asking those of you with experience to tell me a little about GAD. Just cause that is what I feel this looks like, but I could absolutely be wrong. How does a day in the life of a mama with a "GAD-child" look?

Thanks.
