Mei tais are really versatile and easy to use. They take a couple minutes to put on, but they're well worth the time for comfort (much more comfy than the popular bjorn). You can use them with a newborn. I started using one when my dd was three months. I have one from Mei Tai Baby and AngelPack, and a Kozy on the way.
You can use a MT on a newborn. I don't have a Rosiebaby, but I have a Kozy, Older style Sachi and recently got a Freehand. I used the Kozy and the Sachi when ds was younger. Those were good because they're longer bodied and provided good coverage for his floppy head. You just have to tie the straps around his back instead of under his bottom when they're that young. Now that ds is older and has head control, he likes the Freehand better because he likes to have his arms free and it's easier to do it with the shorter bodied Freehand. HTH!

Don't know that soecific brand, but I LOVE the Freehand and have bever had an issue with the floppy head thing - I found the Freehand offers plenty of head support for a tiny baby.
I tried the Kozy when my baby was smaller - it was GORGEOUS. I decided to wait a bit longer before buying one so my baby is a bit taller - just personal preference. If you don't mind that, you can always fold the bottom to make the body of a Kozy shorter

When they're little you can also tie the "apron" up higher (like right under your boobs) and then baby will be snuggled up more on your chest. Then you can also flip the shoulder straps the opposite way and the head rest will poof out a bit more so that the fabric is not right around the face (if they're alert) or do it regularly if they're laying against you and sleepy.
Just another mei tai lover here urging you to try one! They are so great and once you get used to putting it on it only takes me about 2 min at most!
Definitely try one!

I started using MTs when dd was 2 months old. I have a Kozy, Sachi, and Doodlebug - all of which I use regularly. She stayed on my front until she was about 4 months old and then I started putting her on my back. Now (at 10 months) she'll bring me a MT when she wants to be carried. You have to try one - they are great!
