I am looking for a program that will help my two youngest read/read better. I ran across Mindsprinting. I looked around the site, and I must say I think this will help. It is a bit pricey so I want to make sure it is worth it before I take the lunge.

I am looking for experiences and/or personal stories using Mindsprinting.com.

TIA

Are you talking about mindsprinting.com? If so, it's free.

I signed DS, 6, up for both reading and math. It's ok. I don't think it works particularly well as a complete curriculum, as, especially in math, it assumes the child (and parent) have already had instruction on the subject in question and are just reviewing (which is a legitimate assumption given that it's meant to be supplemental tutoring). I find it a bit inflexible - it's not easy to jump around and pick and choose what you want to use.

If we didn't already have workbooks coming out our ears I'd probably find it a lot more useful.

As far as reading goes, I much prefer Progresive Phonics, which is also free.

I'm confused. It looks ad-supported and free to the user. Can you post a link to the program you are talking about?
