Yes oolong tea has caffiene in it, but not much. It is between a black tea and a green tea. Green tea has about 40 mg of caffiene, black--about 80, oolong--I'm guessing about 60. Coffee and soda average around 120, chocolate around 22.

Tea caffiene is different than other caffienes. Something to do with the tannins. I don't know, I'll ask my husband. Anyway, a good oolong tea to try would be Ti Kwan Yin. Its very light and floral and almost like a green tea. I wouldn't worry about drinking an occasional or even daily cup of tea.
