So I've been reading Take Charge of Your Fertility, and I've heard stories, of women using Robitussen to increase their cervical fluid. I feel like that might be one of my problems with getting preggers, so I'm very interested...but how do I use it? Just take it when I think I'm getting close to ovulating? All cycle?

Thanks!

It doesn't increase, but rather thins CF. To increase, I take evening primrose and drink lots of water and green tea. I take the tablet form of Target store brand guifaneisan (spelling?) which is the ONLY active ingredient that should be in any decongestant you use to thin CF. I haven't tried the liquid, but I would imagine it tastes awful, and the tablets work well. I take it from about 9 days after AF until ovulation is confirmed, and I usually O on CD 11 or 12.

Best wishes!

It works. As per TCOYF, I took (I think?) 2 tsp of the liquid three times a day.
