I personally like the baby washcloths you buy in the big pack. I got 16/$5 from Walmart. Some people say they're too thin, but they're thicker than the sposie wipes, soft, cheap and fit perfectly into an old sposie container when folded in half.

But there are also some total luxe ones out there I have never tried!
My favorites are the commercial grade terry wash cloths that I bought at Costco, I think 40 for $7? Super cheap anyway -- and nice and thick for messy stuff and a good size for multiple uses. I just store them dry and squirt on my simple wipe solution from a bottle when needed.

I love baby washcloths, too. They are thin enough to be effective, to fit easily in my wipes container, and easy to wash. I usually only have to use one even on my super-poo toddler. Some of the others I have tried seem way too thick.
I started out liking terry cloth wipes, then I liked hemp jersey wipes, now my favorite are flannel wipes. They are thin and easy to get everything clean in all the cracks and crevices and they can really be stacked up in a diaper warmer! They are on sale right now at www.punkinbutt.com and I think the hyena cart has them too!
