I bought one irresistable size 3-6 month Summer dress with matching bloomers at the end of last Summer, feeling like I was going to get pregnant right away and have a baby (girl) who could wear them the following summer I wound up feeling silly about it- like I was going to jinx our efforts- and giving it to our neighbours who actually had a baby girl It's for the best as we're still TTC !

My big guilty pleasure has been buying piles of maternity clothes without being pregnant . I consigned all of the stuff I wore when pregnant with my son, thinking I would have no more babies (and I was so sick of rotating the same items by the end of that pregnancy!), so I've been gradually collecting tops and jeans, and cute stuff that can be dressed up or down for whatever seasons I wind up being pregnant for. The end of season sales are kind of irresistable...

Way more than I should.
I actually have 1.5 large tupperware totes FULL of baby clothes, and almost another full tub of maternity clothes (I used to work in a maternity clothing store, so I got it very cheap). As someone said- it passes the time, and as this will be my first (some day...) it helps me feel like at least if I can't have the baby yet- I can prepare! I get everything on sale, and keep a running tally of regular price vs. what I paid- so far I've saved over $800!

I also use the "gifts" excuse, although honestly, I know I'm too attached to it to ever give it away... lol
