I picked some up today after hearing here or somewhere that it was good for skin. I got organic, unrefined coconut oil so I'm excited to use it but I have to admit that I'm scared I'm going to be a zitty mess if I put it on my skin. I also wonder if there are any other things it's good for? Anyone know?

Definitely check out Mercola.com - he has a lot of info on it. Just to give you an idea of what we use it for:
*cooking/baking
*smoothies
*massage oil
*over-night conditioner for hair
*dry lips
*personal lubricant (it's awesome too because it has anti-fungal properties)
*thrush
I am so glad we found C.O. ... other than olive oil, it's the only oil we have in the house.

Cool.

I'll check into it too.

I've been using straight up Jojoba (sometimes Almond) for every moisturizing job - facial (including eye area), body, hair, you name it! - and my skin has never looked or felt better. Much calmer than when I used normal products for "sensetive skin".
