Out of the blue I received an email from Susan of Wonderful Woolies letting me know my custom slot was up - I was so far down on the list I figured dd would be in college by the time my number was up.

Unfortunately, dd seems to be making a fairly serious attempt at pt'ing!
Now I'm trying to decide what (or if) to order. I know she won't be pt'd immediately, so we'll still use some wool. I just don't see myself using shorts if she's not in diapers, tho' I do think I'd continue to use longies, because the winters are so cold where we are. But I really want ruffled pink shorts with a fairy on the bum.

Oh the agony! What should I do? Shorts? Longies? Or should I try to be fiscally responsible, especially since I'm quitting my job, and not buy anything at all?!

You know... I think wool is a GREAT cover for over training pants. It help catches whatever leaks may happen. So, I say go for the pink ruffly shorts... too cute!!!
They're a must have potty learning accessory!!!

Get your heart's desire, you'll still get plenty of use out of them. I mean, why do we have to stop putting wool shorts on them once they're PL'd? It's still breathable, antibacterial, yadda yadda yadda. And Susan does such lovely work, it would be a shame to give up your custom slot.

We want to see pix of your dd in her ruffly pink shorts!

I ordered longies for Alek this winter, even if he is not in diapers he will wear them as pants. I am getting blue with a panda on the bum. I sent her the color via html code colors from my site and a picture of a panda eating bamboo leaves. I cannot wait to see how it comes out.

My number is up and I don't know what to get. I have the $ set aside for them also. (I set my Wonderful Woolies and El Bee money aside, I figure I could put the El Bee money towards college books if my number doesn't come up by then LOL) Any ideas for a pair of longies for Jake?
