I was wondering about when I should take my temp....I know you are supposed to take it at the same time every morning but I don't ALWAYS wake up at the same time every morning, it is usually within 1/2 an hour though, would that make a huge difference?

My other question was seeing as how dd2 still wakes up, up to 5 or 6 times a night, sometimes less than 2 hrs. before I get up for the day, is my temp still going to be accurate?

I am new to taking my temperature for NFP, I usually just go by my cm but we REALLY want to be careful this time around for a while longer.

half an hr never made a difference for me, but you can adjust temps .1F for each half hr difference. I also don't really notice a difference if I have to get up in the night - I usually wake up about 2 hrs before my alarm goes off to pee. For the first few cycles just be sure to note any disturbances on your chart so you can see if it makes a difference for you

I found that waking often in the night with dd didnt really make that huge a difference. I had a bit more of a up and down temp but I always saw a clear thermal shift. I rarly got more than 2-3 hours in a row with her and was able to chart just fine. Also never woke the same time either lots more than a 30 min difference and still did just fine.
