TEN hours of sleep!!

Ahhhh...that felt sooo good. DH woke me up at 5:45 this morning and said "do you realize it's almost 6 and he's still asleep?" I had DH go check on him (he sleeps better in his own room) and he was fine. A few minutes later he woke up just itching to nurse.

I think it must be the 12 week growth spurt. He's been nursing constantly and he's probably getting to the sleeping constantly stage now (which my boobs are going to love
: ). I just can't believe I got lucky enough to have a baby who sleeps this well! (knock on wood)

Congratulations!!

My DD began sleeping thru at just 11 weeks. It was sooooo wonderful & it was merely days before I had to go back to work & she hasn't quit! She still sleeps 10-12 hours a night & is a 100% breastmilk baby too. I guess she was just ready to do it. I sure wasn't planning on having such a good little sleeper, but her Daddy usually is, so I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised.

When she started sleeping thru, we moved her to her own room w/crib, too. Maybe not the most AP thing to do, but it seems to work fine. Even though she's just across the hall I have the monitor right by my bed - one little peep & I'm awake & checking on her. She's not righrt next to me, but she knows I'm there whenever she needs me.
