I was leaving OT today, and I always carry ds in the sling afterward because OT is usually pretty upsetting and tiring to him. Afterward he needs that comfort, kwim? Anyway, as I was walking out of the children's hospital, a lady and her 3 small children were walking in. She looked at me and said (as she walked by), "now that's a good idea...i'd like to tie my kids up too..." then proceeded to yell at her kids to hurry up and jerk them along by the arm.

Sigh.

Some people are just like that, and all you can do is feel sorry for them and their kids.

I wonder if she just had a dry sense of humor. It sucks that her kids heard it though.

I am always amazed at the terrible things people will say in front of and about their children. It's so sad-- imagine how those poor kids felt.
