My day started with me driving around the neighborgood looking for Zander. I out him out this am, hooked to a long lead. He usually just lays on the lawn and chews in a stick when the weather is nice. I checked him a couple times and he was just hanging out on the lawn. DD was still sleeping so I layed down on the couch to watch the news. I got up a little before 10 to check on Zander and he was gone. I woke dd to let her know what was going on and got in the car to go look for him. I called a few people to ask them to be on the lookout too. The police dept were called by one of my friends's husbands and they were driving around looking for him too. I was crying so hard thinking that if he got hit by a car, he wouldn't stand a chance because he is big but very skinny. I also worried that he might have gone to the river near our house cause he likes the water. And the current is so strong, I didn't know if he got in the water if he would be able to get out. My neighbor found him a short way down the street and his rope that was connected to him was tangled up in some bushes. So he brought him home, safe and sound.

Then within a half hr, dd goes upstairs to use the bathroom and she starts screaming that it hurts. And she continues screaming in pain so we got ready fast and went to the walk-in clinic. She has a UTI and they gave her an antiobitic and something for the pain.

So we returned home late in the afternoon and just took it easy. After supper, I sat down to work on some assessments that are due for work and one of them that I completed and just wanted to proof read was deleted. So I had to type it all again.:

I am so glad that this day is over!

How stressful, Mama! I'm so glad your dog is safe, and I'm so sorry your dd is suffering. My sweet little dd (just three years old at the time) had a UTI and a YI at the same time. It almost killed me to see her in such pain.

I just survived several of these days in a row myself. Here's another for you! Hang in there. Glad your dog is OK. And I hope your DD gets better really soon.
