I just saw this morning that my son's testicles are on one side of his scrotum. I don't know when it happened. He rolled off my bed Saturday, I don't know if something caused them to twist then. I hope he's ok! I seem to remember one of my boys having that sometime. I don't think it was serious. Does he seem to be in pain or anything?

We just got back from a long day. We went to a dr here that did my c/s and we kind of know. He sent us to a urologist with a possible torsion (testicle twisting over the other), infection, or other things that he didn't think it was. The urologist send us to an ultrasound and wasn't sure what it was but if it was a torsion he would need surgery tonight. We went back with the reports and the urologist thinks it is an infection, not sure if it is viral or bacterial so he gave us antibiotics and wants to check it again in a week. He doesn't think they twisted because there was increased bloodflow instead of decreased.<br><br>
He is really swollen and red. I am taking garlic and am going to get in the bath with him tonight to relax and go to bed and heal. I am praying it goes down and it is just an infection that will go away and not be painful. It seems to hurt him once in a while but not too badly most of the time he is just as happy as usual.

He is doing much better. I don't think it was an infection, I think it was a hydrocele, the next day it was down significantly and the redness was gone. Then all week it has went down and now it is still a little bigger than the other side, but I think it is doing just fine. DH canceled the follow-up with the urologist because it is doing so well and we can always go back if we need too. We avoided the antibiotics because of so much improvment the next day and our child chiro said it probably was just fluid no infection as well. We did have him adjusted as well since he fell. So just over a week later, he is doing great and we are sooo thankful.
