DS is 2 and 1/2 and got a 1 cm puncture wound from a blackberry thorn just now. Do I need to worry about tetanus? (He was last vaccinated at 4 mos old -- back when I didn't know as much about the dangers of vaccines and hasn't been vaccinated since.)<br>

I wouldn't give it a second thought. If blackberry thorns killed kids via tetanus none of us would be here <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br>

I wouldn't worry about it either. There are quite a few criteria in order for a puncture wound to be possibly give someone tetanus.
