I had posted a few times about dfs having some difficulties with reflux/colic. On Monday afternoon, I called the ped to see about switching formulas- they gave us a sample of a soy formula. It took a day and a half for us to notice a differnece but WOW what a great difference!!! Our baby had a great evening last night and a restful nights sleep! DH and I were just looking at each other in awe last night as the baby played with us, enjoyed being held and most importantly...wasn't crying in pain! Crossing fingers that this wasn't a fluke and his tummy pain is gone <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

I'm glad you found out that it's probably a dairy allergy that's upsetting him. But would you maybe want to try a hypoallergenic instead of soy? There is some evidence that prolonged exposure to soy can be bad, especially for little boys.
