My husband and I had a difficult time deciding on circumcision. I did not want to have it done but he was afraid of the old info (infections, cancer, etc) Once that was out of the way the only negative was the social locker room stuff. But he had a roommate in college from Norway who was, naturally, intact. This guy had the respect and admiration of all guys in the locker room. Who knows what goes on in the locker room but this friend of my husband's was quite popular with the ladies and somehow in dh's mind it translated to "intact = good". So in the end we did not circumsize and I am so thankful that Billy the Norwiegan was my husband's roommate and that this young guy had so tolerance for American silliness over the issue. Wherever he is - thank you!<br><br>

That's funny. I don't usually visit CAC, but this discussion drew me in. My friend's DH is from Norway and <b>wants</b> to be circumcised.

He can thank his Norwegian birth for having the opportunity to make the decision for himself. If he were born here, the chances of having that right are about 5 out of 100.<br><br><br><br>
