i'm just sharing this b/c i'm so thankfully i was wearing my dd snuggled tightly in her sling when i fell down the icy stairs two days ago....i twisted my ankle, bruised my bum and smacked my head hard enough to be off for a couple days...and my dd was FINE all b/c she was tightly snugged to my side! I am afraid to think what could have happened to her if i had been carrying her w/o a sling (or some other great baby carrier!)...so, if you are just lurking on this thread b/c you want to know more about slings (or other carriers) and are considering getting one....run out and get one!!! I'm SOOOOOOOOOO glad i have mine...and my healthy, whole dd!!!

I'm so glad your DD is ok! I hope that you are feeling alright as well, how's your head? Did you have a DR check it out?

Similar incident a few days ago with me, I lost my balance, didnt fall, but think that ds may have gone flying if I had not had him in my baby bjorn.
Yet ANOTHER great reason to wear your baby!
