Well ladies, you're turning me into a

in training. I always thought one of the best reasons to CD was to save $$. Now I'm on ebay everyday coveting the Cuddle Buns. I just bought 4 CB and bid on another. I refuse to buy them at full price so I'm trying to bid on the ones that no one else has bid on. I'm still all about the bargain, but I really don't think I came close to spending this much on dd's stash. We used Gerber prefolds and Dappi wraps the whole time, supplemented by some contour dipes I made from old receiving blankets and recycled towels. Since our Dappi wraps didn't last for baby #2 I started to rethink my system. I ordered some NB CPFs (gently used) from a MDC momma and decided to knit my own soakers. Then I started think about pinning and realized dh and MIL would not play along with this system. When I discovered CB I thought I would buy the pattern and make a bunch. Now I'm just addicted to finding them at really low prices. You ladies are a very bad influence!

All I have to say is you better not get me hooked on those expensive covers.

, but if you go to www.valor-kids.com there are lots of cuddlebuns in the on sale section at very good prices. Then you could get your fill and only have to pay for shipping once. Of course then you lose out on the thrill of the Ebay kill.

Stay away from the wool covers. You can never have enough. Just say no.

Yep, I'm right there with you! I've been up at 3:00 am stalking and I'd do it again!

I'm not allowed to spend any more $$ on dipes, and so I've bought 3 in the last 3 days.

I'd rather deal with the wrath of my DH than not have those diapers! I have it bad...........
