thanks so much for all the well wishes! coming back here to find a whole thread anticipating my daughter's birth was amazing.
i had a 27 hour labor this time, something i wasnt expecting at all after my first son's 9 hour birth. my daughter kassiopeia was born at 8:19 pm on the 18th of june. 7 pounds, 10 ounces, perfect as can be. we are exceedingly pleased that we gave birth at home.
our home is filled with happiness, i cannot describe the joy of having 2 perfect babes. watching my oldest with kassi is a dream come true... it is so worthwhile, all the work of being pregnant and giving birth all over again.
i was worried nothing would fit, that it would be *too small*. everything is too big! :LOL kassi wears mama made fitteds and preemie prefolds- i strongly suggest a dozen preemie cpfs if you are building a newborn stash, they fit so well and are cuteness incarnate.
kassi has had 6 pees and 5 poos. isnt it wild that i know how many. that will change soon enough!

thanks again for the kind thoughts. i needed them, the labor was long and really very challenging. but i wouldnt change a thing. ah, babyheaven!
