I was just wondering if anyone can help me with what the "proper" etiquite would be for this situation?<br>
My DS recieved some new clothes from his schools "clothes closet", and I wanted to thank the school, and/or the SW who took him...)especially since he is a handful <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">) Do poeple typically thank the school,sw,school district...?<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/dizzy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Dizzy">:<br>
WWYD? TIA for any opinions!

I'd thank the social worker, the "school district" is sort of vague, maybe if there was a particular person who ran it.<br>
The social worker will probably be thrilled! to get a thank you note.

Oh, thx, guess I was planning on sending her one anyways...since she took him and all...just feel like I need to thank someone else...don't know why

i would find out who organizes the clothes closet (probably PTO/A). if it is the pto, or a group of others, let them know that you appreciate their work. I suppose I would thank whoever, but I would want to know exactly who to address. Ask the SW<br><br>
lots of these types of things go unmentioned, so a thank you would definitely be appreciated.
