why does my mom like it so much? my ds opened his valentine's day card from grandma and now it's everywhere. she knows i have an infant who puts everything in her mouth. i've asked her so many times not to do it. why does she do this to me?

I've asked my MIL to stop many times - not only does it get everywhere and pose a choking hazard, but I'm sure it's not biodegradable as well. Of course, the more I ask her to stop, the more pleasure she probably gets out of putting it in.

If you put glue on a paper next time you suspect the confetti then it will all fall onto the page and make a lovely picture that he can send to gramma!

Oh, I like that! Have the design in glue already laid out, then open the confetti envelope! Almost passive agressive, but under the guise of being creative for grandma. Hey, nice idea! I had a very well-meaning aunt who used to send it in cards every once in a while. I would find confetti stuck to my foot after a shower six months after the card had arrived. It is impervious to vacuum cleaners and I think it multiples, too.
