Have any of you noticed that your baby always wakes up within a minute of you waking? Or that you can psychically wake your baby? Or that your baby will sleep just long enough for you to finish doing exactly what you were working on and wake up exactly the moment you've finished the chore?

I swear it's crazy!! And beautiful!!

Sometimes if she's napping and I;m trying to relax somewhere else in the house, I will have to stop myself from thinking about her by reading a book or something so that I won't psychically wake her up!

Oh yeah. We wake and sleep like that all day and night. I can also be away and my milk will woosh in...so I call dh and my baby is crying the background, even tho' he is 15 months and fills up on solids.

We just need each other at the same psychic moment!

I used to think it was ESP, but now I wonder if he doesn't wake up when I stop snoring!

I've always thought it was so neat how that happened, first with DS and now with DD. I'll wake up and have a brief moment of thinking "why am I awake?" and then DD will stir to nurse.

I use to work night when my older ds was a babe and he would wake up within 10 min of me arriving home. I would ask my mother what time he went to sleep and when she gave him ebm bottle. She d say oh he had a whole bottle or he s completely out and sure enough he would stir and open his eyes 10 min or less after I walked through the door. He would want to nurse of course.

I can feel if he is sick, awake, or scared in his room down the hall. He s 7 now and I think its weird but neat!

My 21 mo old is different; he wakes up at all times and stirs and wants to nurse on and off all night. Drives me nuts. But I am home full time with him.

Awww...this is so cool.

I haven't noticed this much with my baby, but when the phone rings, I know immediately if it's my mom!
