Well, I took the plunge and bought my cloth diapers. We will be using Fuzzi Bunz during the day and Little Beetles with Aristocrat wool covers at night.

My son turns two this week, and I consider this to be part of his birthday present. I spent quite a bit of money, but I really think it's worth it for the comfort value.

I had wanted to switch a year ago... I so wish I had, but my mom (who's really into AP, supports me in every way there) hates cloth diapers and refuses to use them because she used them back in 1983 and hated them. She was using flats, pins, and plastic covers.

I have tried to get her interested, I showed her all the different kinds of diapers, and I really thought she might be swayed by how cute the Fuzzi Bunz are, but no dice so far.

I should have my full stash in the house by Wednesday. I'm so excited! :LOL

I want to thank those on this board who responded to my orignal post about switching a heavy night wetter. You were really helpful.

I will keep you updated on how I like the FBs and the LBs.

As for the comfort value...if I lay out a disposable and a FB in front of my oldest and ask him what he wants he always chooses the FB and lays down for a diaper change! As opposed to chasing him around the room for a diaper change. :LOL We took a break from cloth when he has a nasty rash so when we went back he would find the FB's I had gotten in and come running with one screaming to go "in there" :LOL

So, yeah, I think it is more comfy for them.

Wait until they can verbally tell you how much more they like cloth -- it really hits home then about comfort.

Congrats on making the convert! When I first switched to cloth, I had a few "Why did I do this?" moments, but just a few.

Persevere and you will be sooo glad you switched!

We use a ton of Fuzzi Bunz and they are so soft I just love them!
