....anyone got a cure? I feel like I'm being torn in two and it doesn't end. It's worse at night when I'm laying down.

I've joked with DH about getting a bag of frozen carrots, writing "crotch carrots" on the bag, and making it an ice pack!

I like to put a cold can of pop between my legs, or I also have a rice sock that I can make hot or cold. I totally sympathize, the pain sucks!

With DD I thought my pelvis was completely unhinged, I swear the two halves would settle one side in front of the other and then realign when I stood up. NOT looking forward to that sensation. I have more pressure/achy achy achy of the tissue I think right now. Should i worry?

I don't think this is the same problem, but I too have pregnancy crotch problems. TMI, but I have acquired varicose veins in my vulva : it feels swollen and "heavy" - pretty annoying but not as painful as my increasingly chronic tail bone pain...

Hang in there.

maybe varicose veins is what I have too, reading your post reminded me of a comment by my midwife a few years ago that I had some varicose veins in the area. Is there relief?? I feel sore and heavy/swollen. not looking forward to adding pubic symphasis pain to it!

I think it helps me to put a pillow between my knees when I lie on my side. Otherwise....yeah. Ouch. It's just starting up, but I know I will feel like a creaky old lady soon.

So glad you said this! I almost wrote in yesterday to ask if I was imagining things or if anyone knew what might be causing this sensation. I will bring it up at my next mw appointment. Anything you do to or need to be concerned about with this? It seems to come on during my busier, more active, more stressed days so I take it as a signal to slow down and rest a bit...

Monday my midwife prescribed me hemorrhoid-like cream (I haven't picked it up yet) and said in any case it would go away after pregnancy... I didn't get the feeling it was dangerous, just really annoying. Mine is worse too if I'm really active or sitting down too long...

I hope I don't get this pubic pain some of you are suffering with.

I have pubic pain, swelling, the beautiful veins, and sciatic pain. I had them with my last pregnancy beginning in the 2nd tri as well. The symptoms are definitely worse when I stand/walk all day. Putting my feet up and resting helps. I have seen a chiro. The adjustments seem to help for a day or so. Unfortunately, I can't afford to see him 2-3x's weekly. My symptoms immediately subsided upon giving birth with my last one. C'mon March!
