She asked me if the state of FL gives me materials to homeschool with and I told her no I get to pick them out. She asked what I had to teach and I said whatever I want to. I told her my children were old enough that I don't suggest things that might interest them inasmuch (SP?) as I ask them what they want to learn and we go from there.

It's amazing the freedoms we take for granted. She said "America is a very great place to live!" I guess I take it for granted that I can live the way I see fit.

Sincerely,
Debra, homeschooling mom of 4 ages 9 1/2, 8 1/2, 6 1/2, and 37 mos

My freedom to homeschool (w/in certain states that is
) is part of what keeps me living in this country despite its many pitfalls.
