I try my hardest to buy organic, but it depends on my needs for the week.

We wash all our fruit and veggies in vinegar and water to help remove residue from the skin.

Yes it's tough. Since strawberries ALWAYS seem to be at the top, I'm forever avoiding them except for the occasional sale I find on organic ones. My husband bought conventional blueberries the other day by accident and I swear they tasted different! Our food cost is definitely higher by choosing organic, but to us, it's worth it.

I always give fruit and veg a thorough wash before cooking, aside from that it's not like I can use bleach they still tastes delicious and I've not once been sick!
