OK, so 2 'experiments', sort of, but not on purpose...

A Bummis SWW cover left out in the elements for over a year will not work. One must have fallen off our line last year, and I just found it a couple of weeks ago.... dirty, but washed up OK. But leaks like a sieve!

However.... diapers packed in a box (Raisin Bran box, mind you) that was ran over by a car (accidentally, of course) held up remarkably well, not a thread out of place, lol.

Wet diapers left in the trunk of the car to freeze for 3 months will develop "runs" in the fabric - the ice crystals cut the cotton fibers & really weaken the fabric!
