I just bought a Bummis waterproof bag, thinking it will be great for our up-coming camping trip.
What should I expect from it? Will diapers be okay for 5 days in it? How do you care for it-wash it, etc.? How many diapers (prefolds) will fit in it? That sort of thing.

What size bag did you get? I have an XL as a diaper pale liner and it can hold 2-3 dozen infant PFs (I have 30 and it handled those without a problem). I usually sprinkle some baking soda in the bottom and throw in a wipe that has a few drops of lavendar oil and TTO to keep it smelling good. I throw it in the wash with my dipes and line dry. I've also stuck it in the dryer without incident. HTH!

I have been meaning to get one of these but have put it off, in typical "me" fashion...now we are going out of town again on Friday for the weekend and I have nothing (last time we went out of town I used plastic bags and individually wrapped all our diapers...eessh). I know I have heard of similar style bags, camping bags, maybe? Something that I could pick up as I don't have time to order...anyone know where I can get something like that? Will that work well? Sorry that I jumped in on your post....
