Welcome to another year of Holiday Helpers!

This is the thread where Holiday Helper Donators can list items they have available, but don't know which FIN would like them. In addition to listing the items you have available to donate, please note whether the items are coming from a home with or without pets and with or without smoking; this way we can take into account common allergies when matching up items available with FINs.

This year, when something is posted on the "I Have Available..." thread, there will be a 48 hour lag between when the item is posted and when a FIN can request that item if it is not on their list. That will give the HH Facilitators a chance to match it up with known needs on the FIN lists.

After that 48 hours, the remaining items are available to FINs who did *NOT* have that item on their needs list, but could still use the item. FIN: If you want to request anything, please PM QueenoftheMeadow and HappyHappyMommy with your request (PLEASE remember to include the post # from this thread, the item description, and your FIN #).

We are pleased to be able to offer something for our helpers this year! Anyone who provides an item or items--including gift cards--in response to a FIN's requests (check the family profiles here or the Master Needs List here) or who posts to offer something on this I Have Available thread will be entered into a raffle to win a supporting membership at Mothering (supporter package #1). At the end of Holiday Helper, we will draw names to select three helpers to receive supporting membership at Mothering.

From a smoke-free home with a cat*:

--1 pair gently used, very good condition Hanna Anderson black fleece pants with pockets. Size 90. According to the Hanna Anderson website, size 90 fits a child 2-3½ yrs old, 34-38 in. in height, and 26-33 lbs. in weight. match found

--1 fleece hat, blue/black/white plaid, with ear coverings and a velcro chin strap; tag says size 2-4. Gently used, very good condition. match found

--2 pairs gently used, very good condition pajamas, one size 4/5 and one size 4T (they look like the same size to me even though the tags have different size). One pair is blue plaid with Batman logos and the other pair is red and black Star Wars clone troopers and the words "Star Wars" match found for one pair of PJs

Items for new moms and items for families with a baby or toddler

From a smoke-free home with a cat:

--4 baby blankets, all gently used in excellent condition; 3 of the blankets are 100% organic cotton in an off-white/cream/natural color with a waffle weave; 1 is 60% cotton, 40% polyester and is brown and cream striped and looks like a big soft sweater even though it's a blanket in size and shape. match found

--1 cream/natural colored pack and play sheet, gently used in very good condition.

--22 total organic cotton breast pads (11 pairs); all gently used in very good condition; the pads are flat (not contoured) I found fine, but I know some other mamas who only like the contoured pads, so I wanted to be sure to mention that these were flat.

--5 solid color bibs with velcro closures, all gently used in very good condition; 1 is orange, 2 are a bright light green, and 2 are a bright light blue. match found

--2 purple patterned bibs with snap closures, both gently used in excellent condition; one has pattern of purple hearts and the other has purple, grey, and brown polka dots on a white background.

--2 pairs of long underwear, gently used in good condition; both are LL Bean size Kids S/4; one is natural/cream colored and the other is a muted light blue color; please note there are a few pen marks and a tiny bit of pilling, but if these are worn under other clothes, this would not be noticeable. match found

--1 pair pink-patterned smartwool socks, LL Bean size Kids S/4, gently used in fair condition; they are super warm and comfy and brightly colored, but do have noticeable pilling especially on the bottom of the foot part. match found

--2 dresses, size 3-6 months; both are onesie-dresses, (i.e. a onesie with a dress layer on top); one is pale yellow with a floral print and the red with tiny white polkas and a blue butterfly and stars and says "cutie pie"; both are gently used in excellent condition. match found

--1 dress; it says it's size "newborn 6-9 mos" but it looks tiny; I am guessing it would fit a baby 2-4 months old; it is not a onesie-dress, just a dress; gently used in excellent condition. match found

--3 shirts, size 3-6 months , all gently used in very good condition: 1 sleeveless blue shirt with yellow and pink flowers and butterflies; 1 very thin (great for hot weather) pink/yellow/green pastel plaid sleeveless shirt with a pink butterfly; 1 long-sleeve pink floral print shirt that buttons in the back. match found

--6 pairs of pants, size 3-6 months, all gently used; 1 pair is brown, very soft, and in excellent condition; 1 pair is red fleece with a little train on the bottom of one leg and is in very good condition; 1 pair is pink, very thick and warm, and in very good condition; 1 pair is pink sweats with bows at the bottom of legs and is in excellent condition; 1 pair is a pink velour in very good condition; and 1 pair is pink with a white drawingstring and is in good condition. match found

--3 one-piece jumpsuits, size 3-6 months, all are sleeveless and very similar to a onesie in that they are not intended to cover a baby's legs, but do have a closure at the crotch, all gently used in very good condition; 1 is pinkish/orangish with a butterfly on it; 1 purple/pink/white plaid in a very thin fabric (great for hot weather); 1 bright pink/white checkered in a very thin fabric (great for hot weather). match found

--3 one-piece long sleeve, long legged outfits with feet, size 6-9 months: 1 white with grey and red rose pattern and a red velour bow, gently used in good condition; 1 light and dark pink striped with a small pink dog, gently used in very good condition; 1 turquoise blue terry/velour fabric with a heart and some pink/green/purple/blue details, gently used in very good condition.

--2 one-piece long sleeve, long legged outfits, size 6-9 months: 1 pair with solid color top with fruits/birds/flowers appliqued and pink pattern lower section, gently used in very good condition; 1 pink with overall pink floral print and pink polka trim, gently used in excellent condition.

--1 pair brown with white polka dots overalls with brown flower-shaped buttons, size 6-9 months, gently used in fairly good condition, there is a bit of fading in places but I don't think it's super noticeable (let's put it this way, I noticed a bit of fading but when I asked my DP he said "What fading?").

--1 pair red with black polka dots overalls with a black dog and two flowers on the bib part of the overalls and flowers with hearts at the bottom of the legs, gently used in excellent condition.

--2 checkered bloomers (i.e. underwear/diaper coverings), size 6-9 months, both gently used in very good condition; 1 red and white checkered, 1 navy and white checkered. It looks like these were once part of a set, but could stand alone under a dress or in place of shorts/pants on a hot day.

--1 LL Bean pink fleece jester hat with velcro closure (it looks like the hat in this picture except in various shades of pink: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/61412?feat=fleece%20hat-SR0&page=toddlers-triple-peak-fleece-hat-and-mitten-set), size says 6-12 months but it fit my DD much longer, gently used in good condition; there is some thread/lint in the velcro that I can't get out, but the velcro works fine and you can't see the thread/lint when the velcro is closed. match found

--2 changing table pad covers for a contoured changing pad, top layer is 100% organic cotton, back layer is 80% cotton and 20% polyester, both cream/natural color, both gently used in good condition, both clean but have a bit of lint that could be removed with a lint brush. All of these items are appropriate for a casual work environments, casual social events, and home:

--1 new blue long-sleeve, floor-length, loose-fitting casual dress, with blue flowers, perfect for a modest-dressing woman, length is 57 inches from the shoulder to the bottom hem, length from the collar to the end of the sleeve is about 29 inches. I *love* this dress and wish it fit me; I hope through HH it will find a home with someone who will love it AND be able to wear it. match found

--1 new red scarf/wrap , handmade in Bolivia, 77% alpaca wool/23% rayon, approximately 22 inches wide, 68 inches long with an additional 10 inches on each end of a beautiful weave and fringe. match found

--1 adult-size brown/white shawl, acrylic/wool mix, gently used in very good condition. match found

--1 womens size 14 short-sleeve blue print shirt, buttons up the front, loose fitting, light-weight fabric, gently used in good condition.

--1 womens Chicos size 2 (conventional sizing equivalent is M) brown print open cardigan shirt/jacket, gently used in very good condition.

--1 womens Chicos size 1 (conventional sizing equivalent is S) sleeveless black shirt, gently used in very good condition.

--1 size 3-6 months two-piece outfit, gently used in good condition, green with pink strawberry and cherry and floral pattern and the word "strawberries" in the pattern and green bow; top is sleeveless shirt, bottom is a skort.

--1 size 3-6 months hooded jacket, gently used in good condition, outside is pale pink with an animal and the words "Once upon a time...", inside is pink/brown/white striped.
