Why thankyou Erika....
Ok, some decent news, my progesterone is up to 15, not as high as they'd like, but higher than it was, I'll take what I can get. Beta was 5234, which she said was good, but I'm a little worried about the fact that it isn't doubling anymore. Someone said something about it not doubling anymore once it's in the thousands. I'll speak with my OB tomorrow and hopefully she'll have some answers for me.

Thanks for being the keeper of the thread, Erika!

Shannon--I'm so glad things are looking up. That little belly-bean of yours is already so loved!
I'm really happy that your OB is being so understanding and that you can, for the most part, get what you need for a little peace of mind. Big
for you mama!

Since I don't have last week's thread in front of me, everything I wanted to reply to has flown out of my head! So big fat congratulations, best wishes and belly blessings to our newly BFP'ed TTC'ers!
Check in and let us know how you're doing, if you can!

Well, I think it's safe to say that my reboot has finally come to an end today. Gearing up for the ultimate GIO marathon, because this is the month I'm getting
pregnant! :LOL Thanks for that mantra, Korin!

I'm actually feeling super-duper positive for this cycle. Don't get me wrong, it's not at all based in reality or my charts or anything. Just a few weird things that all seem to be pointing in that direction. I would share more, but I'll just sound nuts! So right now I'm stuck trying to find the balance between having faith in this cycle, and not getting my hopes up too high! One of my least favorite emotion combinations. I can't help feeling very slightly giddy though...dammit.

JOY!!!!!!! congratulations, you give me hope!!!!

I'm dreading my friends arrival on Wednesday night....They have an 18 months old and she's six months pregnant with #2, they werent even trying. I'll probably still be spotting after af when they're here to increase the brutal irony. Oh well, she's sweet (in spite of the regular complaining) and she's a doula and always wanted to be a mom so maybe she can identify on some level with what I'm going through. If not, I will just have to remove myself, and deal with dh later (he does not deal well with me being less than gracious with visitors). Having said that, things have been pretty idyllic recently. We had fun yesterday, he treated me to a cute new little summer dress and we saw the movie "saved" which was funny (in spite of the accidental pregnancy theme, which I could have done without on cd1).

I've been doing more reading on pregnancy loss and more crying. I'm trying to cleanse on all levels (well, I had coffee this am, but only half a cup) to make room for my baby. I heard a beautiful story about an African tribe where women who want to conceive go and find a tree that appeals to them and then make a song to call their baby. I'm not much of a singer but I might try to find a secluded tree to do that! Anyone know world legends to share?

Happy sunday!

Still in shock. Peed on a second stick this morning. Got a second line right away. We took pics of the tests. And I guess I'm 5 weeks preggers... so took a 5 week belly shot. HOLY cow Batman.

This is really a testimony to letting go of control... in all honestly, we had quit tracking ovulation, bought a hottub, and just in may bought a puppy to be a 4 legged baby for us to nurture...

That's good news Shannon. You would think the first months of pregnancy should be all happy and worry free but not for those of us who have miscarried. So much stress! With my first pregnancy,i had no worries and no clue!I didn't even know what breastfeeding was.Seriously.I grew up in rural MI and everyone bottle fed.Thank goodness i had a midwife who explained everything to me.Now i've been nursing for six years straight!

Ekblad i miscarried at the same time you did and i was following your story.I remember your dh not being too supportive of having another kid and the miscarriage. How is he feeling about this now?How do you feel?I so know wanting to fill that void after miscarrying.Regardless of how many children we have or don't have.It is an empty space in ou hearts and souls that is waiting to be filled. It is so hard to feel that loss.

Off to an out of school party! My kids are out next week but the party is today.

Yay, Shannon!!! SO glad to hear that you got some reassurance today.
I was thinking that - that the hCG levels taper off at some point, but I also don't know at which point...glad to know you'll be seeing our doc tomorrow.

Thanks for looking after the thread this week, Erika! Very pretty!

Yippieeeeeee Joy - how
amazing!!!

No news here...dh is convinced I'm pregnant this time (um, due to sensitivity - both emotionally and nipply :LOL) - he even wanted me to test this afternoon...didn't do it. Not sure how I'm feeling about testing this time...time will tell...

everyone!!!

This sounds so stressful for you...... But I'm glad the news was better today.

Sarah - I had a 12 day AF last cycle too! It sucked.

Marie -
s Glad to hear that you had a good day with your hubby yesterday. That is a beautiful story about calling to your baby...

Heve - Lookin' good!
:

Did anyone notice that Adina changed her O date? The suspense is killing me! 17 days past O!!! Isn't it practically the same as 18 days?!?! Isn't 17 good enough?!?!?

She's in denial, she'll probably keep moving that O date until she' out of the first trimester!!! That is because she is PREGNANT!!!!!!
As is Heve by the way, I've been keeping my mouth shut so as not to jinx, but can't keep it shut anymore what with everyone else noticing too--nice implatation dip eh??? looks just like mine did!!

Actually, Shannon, you're right! Adina IS in denial and Heve had a fabulous implantation dip - at exactly day 8!!!!!!!!!! I want Ovusoft - it looks so lovely, with so much more info than FF, but then I don't want to spend the cash.

Oh and Heve, on the emotions thing--you remember me telling you that Steve was about to leave to do a nice thing for me and came to kiss me goodbye and I had an overwelming desire to smack him upside the head rather than kiss him?????
Emotional, yeah, that's just the icing on this psyco cake

Marie--I'm so looking forward to seeing Saved! The preview looks hilarious, and it hits pretty close to home because DH's family is of that...variety? I don't know how to say it tactfully! Hoping the movie will be good for releasing my unpleasant feelings toward them! Glad you're feeling a bit better. I must give another shout out to the book I'm currently devouring, Cosmic Cradle. It's about pre-conception beliefs from all different cultures. Incredibly interesting!

Heve--I've got to agree with the others, quite a beautiful chart you've got there!

Anna--If I'm remembering correctly, you just got your IUD out right? Big
: vibes for you! What an exciting time! And Alex is a doll by the way!

Katy--Sounds lovely! What an awesome way to put the EWCM to use!

Edited for smiley dysfunction!

Thanks for doing the thread, Erika!

I have a question about having a cold . . .how does it affect temps and CM? My temps seemed higher when I had a cold-- but I had no fever. Also, I "think" I O'd, but I'm still getting a bit of EWCM here and there. . .but then again, my cold is lingering a bit in the form of a cough, so I'm assuming I'm more mucousy than normal . . .I'M SO CONFUSED. I "discarded" the temps I had when I was sick . . .

I'm on the edge of my seat with some of the charts here . . .WOW!
Joy's good news made my day, too!

May those of you waiting for an answer find a happy answer soon!
