Oh gawd, I HATE the View! They offend me practically every time I end up watching them!
I was forced to watch them this morning in a doctor's waiting room while I waited for my husband. I was ignoring them, until they started talking about breastfeeding, and then I tuned in just long enough to listen to figure out what nonsense they were sitting around spewting, and then I tuned back out again.
They are nothing but a bunch of women sitting around letting America know what their opinions of life and womanhood are. Absolutely no facts in just about anything that comes out of their mouths. You could get just about the same amount of "truth" listening to gossip in the lady's bathroom.
I doubt any competent woman would ever watch them and listen to them to get "facts" on things, and if a woman somewhere is watching The View to get information on something, then I pity her for thinking that she thinks she will find 'facts" on "the View".

Well, I've never tasted either, but dh has tasted breastmilk. When my oldest was a baby, I worked four hours a day and pumped for her. One morning, he made a cup of coffee and opened the refrigerator to find there was no milk. He saw a bottle of breastmilk and put some in his coffee. He said it was good, but he had to use much more than usual to make the coffee light enough.

Oh, and I've smelled formula. It smells like puke. I can't imagine it would taste better!
I mean if WOHM can pump and BF for a year or more and they work 9-5 jobs, why they heck can't she manage it on a 1 hour a day job. Granted, I'm sure there are meetings etc., but I doubt that having your nanny take care of teh baby at work instead of home is that big of a deal.
You know what makes me sad is I get the feeling that Meredith and Joy actually know better, but they are too chicken to stand up and say what they know is true. They let Starr, Barbara and that bubble head Elizabeth spout off nonsense without a peep because they are afraid of "offending"
