<p>The other new thing has been that about 4-5 times each day, the baby seems to thrust himself towards my cervix and it is THE MOST uncomfortable feeling. I had this in the last pregnancy too and the sensation is tough to explain. It feels almost like suddenly needing to use the bathroom, but it's painful? Is anyone else feeling this?</p>

<p>I've had that a ton. I think it feels like getting a really really rough pap smear.  I sometimes holler out "ow!" when it happens.  It's just starting to be a bit less for me now (and i'm getting all the foot in the rib stuff going on instead).</p>

<p>Yes, it's exactly like a rough pap! That describes it perfectly. I attend college lectures for 5.5 hours three days a week so it's really embarrassing to suddenly jolt upright, grabbing my belly and trying to explain the look of panic. Pretty sure nobody would understand if I was like, "Sorry, I've got a head lodged in my cervix!" haha</p>

<p>okay...i've got a weird feeling, it's not that, but many times a day, after sitting or lying, i stand up and it feels like my vulva/labia are heavy and swollen. it's been happening for a few days and at first i couldn't tell which area it was. vagina/urethra or head on cervix...but i think now it's just extra blood in the area??? does this make sense, is anyone getting this?</p>

<p>I've had both rather unpleasant sensations. I think the swollen girly parts is the increased blood flow. It can be really uncomfortable and borderline painful, though! The cervix thing is just about the worst though! A few days ago it felt like baby was trying to stick her/his hand out! I was sure if I stuck a finger up there I'd feel a hand coming down (sorry, tmi). It was really quite painful.</p>

<p>I have had a lot of low pressure and cramping. I also have been leaking some kind of discharge throughout the day. Usually it happens shortly after I pee but not always. Anybody else going through that?</p>

<p>I've been fighting yeast infections for months now and though right now all's well, next time I'm headed straight for OTC medications. I am SO over this it's not even funny. So I've been swollen and leaky for too long- can't vouch for if it's what you've got going, though.   </p>

<p>after hearing about the cervix kicks, i've  been so thankful not to have experienced them.... and then i did. just once but- oooyyiiii! that is an unpleasent jolt.</p>

<p>noscee- thinking of you in your class, bolting upright with a hand on your belly, really makes me laugh. when i was pregnant with dd1, i was taking a beginers german class at nyu with all of these fancy 19 yr old girls who were in shock, looking scared stiff at the possibility of their young bodies swelling up like mine. lol. i can only imagine if i had made any sudden moves....lol</p>

<p>I actually took a three day field trip with my class in October which left more than enough time to explain ALL the joys of pregnancy. People got to witness the baby rolling around, my need to stop and pee every. fifteen. minutes, my complaints that my stomach was the size of a walnut while my appetite was the size of a watermelon, watch me try to get my shoes on... it was great fun for everyone involved. <span><img alt="ROTFLMAO.gif" src="http://files.mothering.com/images/smilies/ROTFLMAO.gif"></span></p>
<p><span>No really, I always thought that in lieu of sex ed classes in high school, they should just have pregnant ladies visit the class and be straightforward about all the itchy, icky, prickly, gooey, painful, hungry parts of pregnancy. It would have been enough to scare ME away for a few more years!</span></p>

<p>I have the pubic symphasis whatever it's called issue where my pubic bone is separating. It feels bruised when I get up from lying down or sitting too long or after walking on the treadmill.</p>

<p>My biggest complaint is the sweatiness! It's gross. With the extra weight gain, my thighs and girly parts are all smashed together and I always feel so sweaty.  I need a little yoni air conditioner or something, lol!</p>

That was me!! And it had a little blood tinge in it.  I swear i felt the baby kick right through! like I really really felt it! lol.  The nurse on call tells me it is not possible, but still it felt like it and it was hard enough to lose a good portion of pluggage lol.</p>

<p>I keep having random itching that'll last for a couple hours or so and then it'll be gone. I actually thought I had a yeast infection when it lasted a few days, but before I started treatment, it went away. Poof, gone! Not a twinge for weeks! I don't get it! Same soap, same detergent...is this pregnancy related?? Anyone know??</p>

I am SO happy i saw this - because it describes EXACTLY how I've been feeling for the last couple weeks. At first I thought I just pulled a groin muscle, but now it happens all the time and since it hasn't gone away, I guess it's here to stay for a while. Sigh. <p>Ok, this is a little higher up, but when I turn or sit up or whatever, if the movement is a little sudden I get this weird feeling in the area above my belly button. Mostly on the right side, but also the left. The closest I get to describing it is beeing stabbed by a knife, only much less painful. Because the feeling is kinda like a "long" feeling, but only a little painful.</p>
