OK, I'm sure this has been asked many a time before, but here goes!

What kind do you have?

Do you like it?

What would you buy if you had a choice now?

I have 2 old digitals, and last night dug them out in preparation for starting to chart today. However, I tested them before bed, and got 3 different readings from each! Clearly, I need a better one. What would you recommend? I'll pop out after work to get one.

Thanks!

I have a regular digital and a proper bbt and I don't really have a preference between the 2 of them. I think as long as it's reliable and you temp consistently you're fine.

I have the one recommended in TCOYF. It only goes to .X, but it works fine for me. I like the fact that it has a memory in it, a backlight, beeps to let you know it's placed correctly, and beeps when it's done. Oh yeah, and it's PINK!!

I had a CVS thermometer that wore out after 8 months. It was great at first because it read to the hundredth of a degree, but I've just recently bought a BD Basal thermometer and I like it even though this was my first morning using it. It beeps when in the proper position in your mouth, has a memory and beeps when the temperature is taken. It takes the temperature very quickly too so you aren't sitting there waiting for like 3 minutes to get out of bed. I believe that it was recommended by TCOYF because they have an excerpt from the book in the instructions. I also like that you can reorder a battery when it starts to wear out. Nice.

I love my basal thermomter by Vicks , it is called the OVITRACK the tip is flexible: ,and the thermometer is larger and easier to grip and read and it records to .XX. I had a generic OSCo drug one and it was so small, hard to read, and even harder to push the darn button if you arent HERCULES!

HERE IS A LINK WHERE I FOUND MINE:
http://store.merchandise-plus.com/ovbathfrvimv.html
