We're bored over here! Those of you that live in and around Lexington what do you like to do with your kids? DD desperately needs some friends and fun things to do!<br><br>
I'm planning on trying library story time again, but last year when we went it was so crowded. (At the Tates Creek branch...)<br><br>
Are there any preschool homeschooling activities going on during the summer? One group I looked at doesn't start up again until the fall. DD will be 4 in July, and she's really ready for some kids to play with and some regular activities to look forward to.<br><br>
Any suggestions of playgroups or (free/cheap) activities are welcome!

Are you looking at BHLC? My kids are there in the fall/spring, and they love it. They have park day every Thursday at 10 in the summer (not sure when it starts). I think they alternate weeks at Southland and Woodland parks.<br><br>
We do a lot of walking at the arboretum. Salato in Frankfort is free and is really neat.

There are two local meet-up playgroups at meetup.com. The Lexington Playgroup Meetup there has a somewhat diverse group of parents as far as parenting styles, and a big variety of activities.
