Hello all,
My husband and I recently moved from Boulder, Colorado (my home) to California and have had a horrible work experience. So after three months here we are considering another move and one of our choices is Ann Arbor. I have never been anywhere near MI, so this is a totally new place for me.

We are looking for a good place to raise our two little ones (7 months and 3 years), so good schools are important to us. Also we are very active and love the outdoors and like to hike, cycle, etc. In Boulder we were spoiled with family activities (art classes, music classes, small museums, gymnastics, etc.). Are there things that we will find to do here???

We're also pretty "crunchy" so we're looking for like-minded people. Any good places for "foodies" out there? We're both in food-related work.

TIA,
we just moved back to NJ from MI (we were there for my husbands work for about 4yrs) I LOVED AA...if there was any place I could chose to live in MI it would be there. I worked there as well. If I could I would try my hardest to live within walking distance to downtown..so many things to do there, shops, resturants, a wonderful hands on meuseum for the kiddos...I hve to say I don't neccesarily miss MI but I do miss AA! good luck!
