I started the third trimester today who else is with me?

When does it start? I am 27 weeks and 1 day but I think third trimester begins at 28 weeks?

I've read as early as 26 weeks but I'm 28 weeks today and that's when I consider the 3rd trimester to start.

I consider 26 weeks beginning of third tri, since I never go to 40 weeks, LOL! So, I'm almost two weeks into the third trimester.

I can't believe how fast it's going! Anyone else suddenyl really feelign the need to get stuff ready?! I made DH pull the baby clothes out of hte attic yesterday and I made a few phone calls to get all my loaned-out stuff like the carseat and my slings back, LOL!

Theresa I was thinking the same thing since I haven't made it to a due date yet (dd was born at 38 weeks and ds was born at 36+weeks) but then thought I'll just wait until I'm 28 weeks anyway.

I am feeling the nesting urge pretty strong these days and wishing I had the energy to get done everything I need to.

My peri says 24 weeks.. but that could be due to me being with twins... I am in the 3rd at 27 weeks and 28 weeks on sunday.

well, I'm at 26w5d today....not quite the 28 weeks in a lot of the books, but considering that dd was born at 36 weeks I think I'll count myself in; there's a really good chance that this little one will be equally early (thanks to my wonky anatomy

I'm only 25 weeks. And my dd was born at 41 weeks, so .... I figure I should be done by the beginning of December since my "due date" is November 23. lol

I am so ready to be done with this pregnancy, but have so much to get done. And I do NOT want to have this baby early and deal with the NICU for months and all of that!

I should be at least 28 weeks by now...I am thinking that the baby's "due date" should be between Oct 26 and Oct 31...not positive...hoping for a November baby...

I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow! That probably still leaves me a week or two before the beginning of the third trimester, since there are conflicting opinions on when it starts, but I'm sharing your excitement ladies! I've been counting down the days (using a countdown clock on www.timeanddate.com) and today I have 98 days left before my due date (as I define it!).

I've heard the last month or two is the hardest...is that true?

The first trimester (and into the second) is the absolute HARDEST for me by a long shot. But the last few months are hard in the fact I'm so big and it gets harder to walk and roll over in bed things like that. But I guess when I can see the light at the end of the tunnel I can handle things much better (compared to the beginning when I'm so sick and have so far to go).
