I feel lots of bopping around in there, sometimes not so subtle either and I'm only 13 wks 2 days. I felt my first at 14 weeks and my second at 11. I always know its Baby because they get progressively stronger as the weeks go by and we were hearing the movement on the doppler while I was feeling it on wed .

Enjoy your thumps and wiggles !!!

I feel little jabs and pokes every so often. I got one jab the other day that made me jump. It really surprised me.

Glad to hear other mamas feeling movement early. I'm 13w4d and didn't want to think it was my imagination. It feels different than the rolling sensation caused by gas bubbles, you know? It's always around the same spot and it feels like a jab!

I felt my first at around 18w and my 2nd around 14w!

sooo cool!! my bean is a-jumpin' around in there, too. i can't feel the movements consistently yet, but, like mamabear, the movement corresponded with the doppler today at the mw office. so my dh's gas theory is shot!!

(s)he jabbed me good after the visit, too, just for good measure, i guess.

Nothing here yet either, but I'm only 14 weeks on Sunday. It's my first so I don't really know what it feels like. Saw the bean jumping around on an ultrasound a couple weeks ago--wish I could feel it too!

Are there any tricks to either get the baby to move (besides poking your belly a lot) or feel it more easily?

Fetting baby to move- sometimes you can drink something cold and then lie down and wait. I found something bubbly (ginger ale) helped get baby to move around/wake up

Yay! for baby bumps...Enjoy it

I had a couple of good bumps today too!...I love it!!! When I feel nothing I worry. You'd think by now I would know better.

As for getting the babe to move I have alway felt the best movements about 20-30 minutes after I eat...Or when I'm just settling down to sleep. I haven't felt this baby moving regularily yet but later on, I suspect it will be the same as before.
