I have to say I havent been THIS sick for years. It is day 5 and I am barely better...Every time I blow my nose I put so much strain on my belly it scares me.
I know this is going to sound stupid but...can I make it worse down there for myself with that kind of straining considering I am already dilated at 31 weeks (1-2cms)? I really dont want to call my doctors office asking them that

DD had a fever of 104 the other day...poor baby and she is still being so sweet through it all. Not really eating.

And to top it off, my man is sick too. The whole family pretty much.
We've been holed up here for days...just waiting to get better.

Being sick while pregnant SUCKS.

I was just coming to whine about much the same thing.
I don't think you have to worry that blowing your nose will make you dialate more. I have discovered that saline nose spray makes a massive difference and will make it easier to blow your nose. Try it.

I swear, i have caught every single bug that has passed my way this year. The last few days, DS and I have been sick with some nastiness (high fever, stuffed up) that has now spread, and I have a double ear infection so bad that I can't hear anything. DS is sitting on the couch, half asleep watching Dora. It took me 1/2 the episode to realize what he was watching because I can't hear it at all.

UGH! I had it for 3 freakin weeks in December - lost my voice too!

I don't think the pushing will make a bit of difference - the baby is not ready to trvel down the birth path yet.

My DD has the stupid runny nose and cough portion of it AGAIN - 3rd time this year and it lasts for WEEKS. So annoying.

I hope you all feel better soon!

Aw hugs, what a bummer being sick, esp. while pg and on bedrest. Have you tried a neti pot? I hear they work wonders, I keep intending to buy one to have it on hand.

Get well!

There has been a wicked flu going around here too-I avoided it but my youngest got it and it was bad. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I'm actually feeling a little better today too. Well, i can hear, and got some antibiotic ear drops yesterday. Poor Monster is still pretty sick, bronchitis and such so he is still hanging out on the couch.
