my baby is 3 1/2 months old today and he was laying on his tummy (just figured out how to roll from his back last week) and while I was watching him wiggle he just rolled right onto his back.

I was so surprised I squealed and he startled and started crying
so I picked him up to walk with him and we laid on the couch with him on my chest on his belly and he started rooting around so I got out the boobie and he latched on (we never managed that position before!)

he almost never looks at me while nursing but this time he did the entire time, and right before he fell asleep he gave a huge smile then fell asleep, smiling and nursing.

it was so....I dont even have words, just

DD looks at me when we nurse side-lying. I remember once she stopped, looked up at me and gave me a big smile. Then went right back on the breast. It is a great feeling...

So sweet! Milky smiles are the best!

One of my favorites is if ds happens to be nursing when Daddy comes home from work. DS gets so distracted - he's so happy to see Daddy, yet he's so happy to be nursing, that he goes back and forth between smiling at Daddy, sucking, smiling at me, wiggling and giggling. It's just too much happiness to handle!

You all are killing me with the sweetness! I love it!!!

My boy smiles a lot too when nursing and definatley stops to look up and smile...and when he drifts off to ssleep on the boob he smiles in his sleep.

It just makes me want to be a baby making machine so I can always have that sweetness around.
