So while my son and I were in the shower and I was holding him against me and I heard him make a sound so I held him in front of me and to my surprise he puked, so I move him to my other shoulder only to discover that the puke had gotten in my pubic hair this was definitely not in the handbook ....

Yeah, I don't remember baby pooping (diarrhea) while you bathe together either

My DS discovered my pubic hair in the bath recently, immediately yanking on it. He was quite put out when I covered myself with my hand for protection! Definitely NOT in the babybook!

Yeah, well, I really wished that that damn Baby Book would have told me that my son would be obsessed with grabbing a handful of POO everytime I changed a messy diaper.

My husband has also been the victim of "floaters" in the bath tub more than once.

What was not in the manual was how necessary bathing with your child becomes when you've just spent the night bathing in her milk (combo of spitup and leaking mama). Isn't a milk bath supposed to be some sorta spa treatment? Seriously I could make a fortune around here...

When my daughter was a week old or so, my dh was changing her, and my mom and I were sitting in the living room chatting when we hear "holy crap! and i mean that literally!" So we go running in, all in a panic that something's wrong with the baby. When we get there, my husband guestures at the wall, and we realize, the WHOLE WALL is covered in baby poo!! That tiny newborn body managed to send her waste a good 6 feet from where she was being changed!! Of course, my mom and I were not in quite the freaked-out state that my virgo of a husband was after watching poo spray out of his daughter, so we were hysterically laughing. We got sophia cleaned up and then my mom took her while my husband and i set to work cleaning up the poo. That's when my husband looks at me and says in this dumbfounded way "it just came out like a rocket. It was a poop rocket!"

I have pics, if you wanna see.... hahahahahahaha

About a week later, early in the morning, Dh was again changing dd's diaper, and apparently tipped her upward too much while wiping and... he got sprayed in the face w/the poo : that time he freaked and had me take the baby so he could take a shower. He learned his lesson after that - he always kept some sort of guard over her bottom.
