I did it with DD and it was wrong horribly! Even if I used the month before and after (so a total of 3 months) it was wrong.

No....darn things...I should have two girls!

It was right for surro-daughter if I used MY age at conception, but not IM's.....but I doubt they thought of something so complicated

According to the CGC DD was supposed to be a boy.

It was right for all three of my children. I looked up all of my friends and their kids, me and my siblings, dh and his siblings... all correct. It almost creeped us out, but was neat at the same time. If it continues to hold true, this one will be a girl. Can't wait to see!! So far I have the Chinese gender chart saying girl, a heart rate of 153-158, and my 5 year old dd saying "hi little sister" to my belly since I told her there was a baby in there (we've explained that it could be either but she says 'it's not mommy, it's a girl'). Time will tell!!
According to the chart my daughter was a boy and this one's a girl.

Should I start buying things in blue, do you think?

Oh, wait, are we supposed to measure our age as is traditional in China? If I do that, it says girl both times.

Still a few weeks before I can find out whether Pip is male or female.

It was wrong for my daughter but correct for this one (a boy).

I'm curious, did you guys for whom it did not work use the one where you just base it on your age, or use the one where the calculator figures out your lunar age, like this: http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/index.html. If you use your regular age based on the Western calendar it can be off by several years. I tried it both ways, and when I used the link above it was right on both occasions. Plus I entered in my SIL's info and it was right for her first, but not her second. My other friend who told me about it said it was correct for all three of her kids. But then again, if it were so accurate, wouldn't the people in China who want boy babies have more success and not have so many abortions of girl babies?
it was right for me -- but i just used an web one where i put int eh stuff and IT did all the conversions, I still don't quite get it -- the different ages and so on.

ANother Boy -- well that was what dh dreamed...... at least i have the clothes
it was right for dd. it says this one will be a girl too!
Even correcting for lunar age, it was right for dd1 and wrong for dds 2 and 3. On the other hand, dh has been right all 3 times, and he thinks this one is a boy. We shall see.
If I use it based on lunar age, it was correct with my first two. It says boy this time. We'll know for sure next Monday.
Well, it says I'm having a girl... I am not sure, never used it with my first.
But, I want a booooooyy!!!!!
it says boy for me but I so want another girl.........heart set on another girl...have tons of girl stuff..there are only girls in my family.....dp has already made two girls (ours and my sd)........dd says good morning and such to her baby sister she says so....i find out on 4/11
chinese calendar for baby #1 and #2 was correct, but baby #3 said Boy and I had twin girls?! Baby #4 it says Boy so we'll see end of August.
I did it even before we conceived! Yes, I'm neurotic. We weren't even trying for a particular gender! Mine said boy. Yesterday the heartbeat ranged from 130s to 140s (several different measures -- very active), so that could be either, right?

I used it with dd...correct.
This time I have not been able to use it. We conceived somewhere in the week around my 27 birthday, and I don't know when.
If I don't know conception date or at least my age at time of conception, I'm out of luck.
