I have about 9 weeks to go before the baby is due to arrive. I was wondering if I could get some thoughts on my newborn stash?

I am only going to put the newborn sizes in because I am all set with small diapers on up since we have been CD'ing DS since he was 2 months old and I saved most of his diapers/covers.

Here's what I have so far....

Prefolds
-12 preemie UBCPF's
-36 infant UBCPF's

Fitteds
-12 Kissaluvs size 0

AIO's
-2 VB AIO's (on the way)
-1 Prorap AIO (on the way)

Covers
-4 NB Diaperaps
-1 XS Angelwraps fleece
-1 Polar Babies size A fleece wrap
-1 fleece SugarPeas (on the way)
-1 merino wool SugarPeas (on the way)
-1 NB Warm Heart Woolies soaker
-1 7th Heaven Babies wool cover (snap)
-1 (unknown) WAHM wool cover (snap)

I also have lots of pins and wipes and wipe solution, etc.

What do you think?

That looks good to me. I haven't diapered a newborn but it seems like you have plenty of diapers and covers. The only thing that I would add would be some fleece liners for the prefolds. I'm just a fan of fleece liners though.:LOL

Maybe a few more AIOs for the diaperbag

I think you have an awesome stash, there!

I wouldn't buy more AIO's for now, because I know you don't like them, so I would wait until your baby is here and then try and see if the VB AIO's change your mind about liking the AIO's in general.

Looks great to me. You might want to buy 1 snappi to try. I liked snappis better on my newborn, but pins on my older babies.

I noticed that many of your covers don't have gussets, not sure how well non gusseted covers will do with prefolds?

The only reason I even thought to mention this is that W/my dd the polarbabies covers didn't do so well with trifolded prefolds (I didn't know about snappis then).

Not sure if this would be a universal problem, maybe just a fit issue with my kiddo. About 1/2 half of the covers (front snapping sz 0 FCB covers) in my nb stash don't have gussets either. I'm just kinda hoping that the snappi will keep things under control.

I hate to say it, but disposable diaper liners :
They are awesome for bf poopy blow outs

Also, how about some hemp doublers for outings?

looks good to me! i'm jealous of such a fabulous stash. for some reason, i've stocked up on TONS of covers for my babe-to-be, but have very few fitteds for him. i guess that's my new task at hand.

It looks good to me, particularly if you have larger babies. Mine was 6 ish pounds and there is no way she fit into the infant pf's for a good while. So, if it was me with my little babes I would get another dozen kissaluvs, they were so great on my nb and they fit her longer than any other nb dipes (fleece, plain unbleached are the stretchiest). The covers look good to me though (I loved xs angewraps too - her fleece cover is so soft perfect for nb's. Really quick wash and dry and very breathable. Oh, and I would special order a fuzeasy xs - that was also stretchy and soft, it was the cover that fit for the longest.

Looks good. My dd is already outgrowing some of her newborn fitteds (she's only 9 days old!!), so I think having the prefolds on hand is a good idea. We're getting by with just two nb wool covers, though, BTW. We have some PUL covers but haven't even used them yet. I have cheap Kooshies AIOs for night changes, too, that have been working ok, if you're looking for AIOs. My mom bought them on clearance from a store so they were cheap for her and even cheaper for me (free!! :LOL), not sure how much they run normally...

I would get a couple Bummis NB wraps. I used them on my daughter as soon as her cord fell off. Loved, Loved, Loved them! Ditto on the snappis. With all those prefolds you will want to secure them with something. I might get some more fitteds. I really liked fitteds with a simple cover when my dd was little.
