Ideas that is. Ideas for girl names that fit the following criteria: 2 syllables and end in the "ah" sound.

We have a boy name and probably won't find out the gender so to be prepared need a girl name that flows with our 2 daughters, Eva and Maya.

Thanks everyone! How would you pronounce Leila and Lila? Lee-lah or LI-lah? I like Lila especially but only pronounced one way but I'm not sure if it is the common way to say or it not!

Another "how do you say it" question! Is Ana with one "n" like Au-na instead of Anna? If so, I really like that one, too!

When I listed it (Ana), I had the pronunciation "Anna" in mind, but just spelled differently. However, I think pronouncing it "Au-na" is lovely!

Leila is just as you have it - think a Hawaiian Lei (lay) + la. I go back and forth on Lila (I guess I usually say Lie-la)

I love the names Clara and Hannah!

My niece is Kira, and it's lovely, and my cousin is Kiera (pronounced just about the same way, kind of like cure-ah)

I have had beautiful, amazing students that leave wonderful images with the names Anna, Anya, and Annika (I know, 3 syllables, but beautiful!)

I like Nina, although it's getting really popular I think.

I like Dora, even though there's the Explorer by that name.

Reva, Leta/Lita, Kara, the old standby Sara(h), Mara, Britta (my MIL's dream girl name, think of it pronounced very Scandinavian!), Leah, Raiya (I love this name, but it rhymes with Maya, so...), Dana, Jenna, Krista, Lissa (my nickname), Lisa, Brenna

I know someone already mentioned it, but anna is very nice! Classic and simple....mmm I never actually thought about it, but I really like it! I really like Ava, but it seems to be VERY popular right now.
