I treated my dd for thrush a few weeks ago. I noticed I was having some nipple pain and then I noticed the start of a yeast diaper rash with dd. I treated her rash and mouth with gentian violet (and subsequently my nipples as well sinc I would nurse her after the treatment).
It was all good after a few days, but now the nipple pain has returned. She has no yeast diaper rash, but she started getting some red spots outside her mouth under her lower lip which have now turned into a scaly looking rash. She has no diaper rash this time. Does this sound like yeast again? I've included the link to the best picture I could get. You can see the little dots on the left and the large patch on the right.
