Check out the book "Superimmunity for Kids" by Leo Galland,M.D. It gives specific recommendations about nutritional needs in whichever age group they're in. -diet rich in omega fatty acids<br>
-varied diet with whole foods, not processed<br>
-adequate rest and exercise<br>
-supplementation with herbs (echinacea, astragalus) and vitamins (vitamin c in the form of sodium ascorbate) when needed during times of stress, exposure to illness or being run down<br>
-avoid sugar (this one's a BIGGIE!)
