I am looking for some additional tips on staying smoke free.

I was a heavy smoker for 14 years and I quit the day I found out I was pregnant with my first.

I successfully quit for 3 years but under a large amount of stress last year, I gave in and I have been smoking for 10 months.

Today is day one, I am using the gum right now to help but hate its taste.

Any stories or motivation will help.

I used herbal smoke alternative to stop smoking - the kind that is an herbal blend that you smoke. It worked wonderfully! I only even used that stuff for 3 days before I even gave it up. I haven't smoked in 2 years and don't even miss it a bit. Even if I'm stressed!

* I will say though that I have had some big changes in life and am generally happier with myself and my life overall so this helps me not want to smoke. A lot of my urge to smoke before from "stress" was really just depression.
